The installation went smoothly (including harddisk recognition) up to this
point, when the
PS command showed Parted running. There was no progress for hours and no
harddisk or CD
access. The portable computer uses one internal h
illed using
signal 9.
Before that, any new instance of Evolution complains about not being able to
get a new
calendar, ‘timeout reached’.
BTW, I do not use Evolution for e-mails but mostly use Cal DAV calendars and
task lists.
