Just a note that since gqrx v2.5 it is possible to select audio
backend at build time using the LINUX_AUDIO_BACKEND cmake option.

I believe this problem is fixed in the latest version of gpredict
(0.8.0), which has been released few days ago.
It is true that gpredict includes a copy of goocanvas and I agree that
this is a bad idea but I don't see any useful alternative at the
moment. I can not expect the average
The convention used in gpredict is decimal degrees West, thus -77 is East
of Greenwich. On the other hand, using +77 will give you a wrong locator
because the locator code, provided by the hamlib package, uses the
opposite convention. This has been fixed in version 0.5 though.
