Maybe post this in comp.lang.forth. The gforth maintainers hang out there. An

Workaround: also upgrade samba-libs to the version from testing …
It pulled, I think, also a new version of libc6. Now I finally have control
:-). And also thanks for cleaning up the “Package:” mess I inadvertently
created.

I figured out i was doing things wrong (compiling with libc++ and them removing

The tr command is introducing a dependency of coreutils package. This
is not strictly true because we use cat. But if it is configurable we
can recommend coreutils but if this is not configurable we need to add
coreutils as dependency.
