Vaclav, is there something unusual about that jpeg file? What make and
model of camera did it come from? Does the same thing happen with
images from other cameras?

As indicated in the upstream bug report, exiv2 has had for many years
a conversion function mapping exif tags and xmp properties. In exiv2
0.25, these mappings were updated to MWG standards.
MWG guidelines specify that Xmp.xmp.CreateDate be mapped to
Exif.Photo.DateTimeDigitized which cannot hold

digikam is now at 4.11.0
According to the release plan, 4.12.0 is due in a month. digikam
consistently releases new versions every 6 weeks.
