I'm experiencing a variant of this bug in up-to-date testing (wheezy).
iceweasel does not respect a manually configured system proxy (System
Settings->Network->Proxy). The bug report claims that this works but proxy via
url doesn't.
The problem with mp4 files I have in wheezy are related to
gstreamer0.10-plugins-good. I have filed an amended bug report as

This is a modification of a bug I just submitted (appended). I've isolated the
problem I've got with totem in 64-bit wheezy with mp4 files to files produced
with ffmpeg. Other mp4 files seem to play OK with totem. The files in
