The changes made to the linux-image-6.12.35+deb13-amd64 kernel are
causing the problem. With the linux-image-6.12.33+deb13-amd64 kernel,
the system boots and runs correctly.
The firmware-intel-graphics package (20250410-2) has not been changed
recently, at least not during the kernel update 6.12
Praveen suggests to add an option to use xdg-email(1). At first run (if
there is no ~/.caffrc), the tool could ask a question about which mail
system to use, like reportbug currently does.
