The warnings which are reported in the bug are deprecated starting with the
OpenSSL 3.0. The suggestive / upgraded functions are used in the latest source
of s390-tool, which is available in Openssl 3.0 and beyond. Kindy do the
package upgrade of s390-tools to the lates

Done, it actually FTBFSed with PHP 8.4 and had to be fixed.
It is now waiting in NEW now (because of php8.4-mcrypt is NEW),
so if you need to fix this earlier, you need to work your magic :)
