recently did "systemctl revert" to reset some overrides I put in through "systemctl
edit". The effect obviously was
that the extend.conf which is not supposed to be there got deleted and clamd
did not start upon reboot.

+1 for this bug. I confirm that courier-msa (note MSA not MTA) doesn't stop
