the patch https://crazy.dev.frugalware.org/ evdi - all -in- one - fixes . patch
works and makes the module compile fine if applied to the source, please
include it in the dkms build

Small correction: Since debhelper compat 11 this is already the default
and since libvirt uses compat 12, you don't need to explicitly set it
anymore

Hello!
After some more digging, I've tracked the problem to the audio input /
capture-side of the code. If I leave out the QEMU_ALSA_ADC_DEV="null"
environment variable, the freeze does not happen, but Qemu spews
hundreds of errors, following lines repeat many times:
