I just recently switched from pngout (non-free) to zopflipng. So I
kinda use it almost daily now, but not for a very long time. I also
evaluated pngcrush and optipng (which are included in Debian as well)
but except when zopflipng is messing with the color mode, it always
produces smaller files tha

Dear Maintainer,
After testing I realized that the version included in Debian is 2.5,
while the package announces version 2.6.
Can you change the package to indicate that it is version 2.5,
or to pack the latest version?

We have run into the same issue. It has caused problems for us on
postgres servers where new connections to postgres are rejected while
the locales are being regenerated so it’s pretty major for us. Still
a problem on jessie. I’m surprised that after 3.5 yea
Hi,
I know it is only wishlist unless you explicitly care about ppc64 and s390.
Yet OTOH since it is a very simple change, so I thought a ping on this to
query the status won't hurt.

The automatic detection of running on a Xen host does not work because the ( not
accelerated) qemu driver is available, too. The profile script will
automatically set the environment variable for a locally logged in user.

Thanks for adding zopflipng to the package. However, I just found one
scenario in which it gives undesirable results. That is with small
images (<4K of uncompressed image data) that only use shades of gray
(and optionally an alpha channel). There is an op

Those values seem to make a good compromise between giving enough time and
shutting down the host reasonably fast.
