Attached is a patch to fix the FTBFS with GCC 4.6. In both cases, it
appears that someone is intentionally trying to stuff an integer in a
pointer, so I essentially made the integer type a long so that it would

I had the same problem with empathy not starting. I installed
libgl1-mesa-dri-experimental and now empathy works. And now I get ~35 frames
per second with Extreme TuxRacer.
As you can see I have a Nvidia NV4B and am using the nouveau driver.

For whatever reason the problem is gone today. I really don't
understand this since I booted (both hot and cold) several times when
trying to "fix" it and everytime kworker -processes started running at
~50% right after the boot. The machine was off whole yesterday and
