I agree that the UI is a bit confusing to use, but you can set the
username and password from the trayicon -> Preferences and thus it
doesn't render this software unusable. I am downgrading the severity
of this bugreport to normal for that reason.

on my system, i can't reproduce this bug, but I use unstable. And not
so long ago I had the same issue, so I assume, this is a problam with
one of the libs, which are used from audacious.
