Hi,
This little test program causes a segfault on amd64:
#include
int main()
{
glGenLists(1);
return 0;
}
But the same thing works with the version from experimental (7.3-1).

Hey,
I just found the problem:
abiword is allocating a tree path with gtk_tree_path_new(), but freeing
it with g_free (vs. gtk_tree_path_free). As gtk_tree_path_new does not
necessarily use malloc() but may also utilize faster memory management
functions, this leads to the described free() error.

The package currently in unstable (173.14.09-5) is unusable on recent kernels
(2.6.28.x), the package in experimental works fine.
I think the package has spent enough time in experimental and it should be moved
to unstable.
