The procedure described in the first mail has some problems.
Use this one, which has been tested:
http://svn.debian.org/wsvn/pkg-voip/wengophone/trunk/
Any ETA for an updated swi-prolog package?

Oh, thanks, I didn't know (just noticed that in an Ubuntu source package
yesterday). Does ubuntu has dh_icons, though?

I was going to use "grave", but there is no really danger of data loss,
only very hard to detect, ugly and surprising incompatibility with
upstream's binary database files, possibly leading to incorect query
results. I (as maintainer) certainly

If I run apt-get update -o APT::Get::List-Cleanup=false,

If I run aptitude update -o APT::Get::List-Cleanup=false,
it deletes the files.

Version: 0.6.0-1
Severity: important
The check of exported symbols in debian/rules is a bit too restrictive.
On mips/mipsel the package fails to build since the library exports the
_ftext symbol. Ignoring this symbol solves the problem.

Hi,
first try before going to bed was not successful, and I used a slightly
modified script to get the same version from CVS:
DATE=20070307 <-- here is the difference
TREE="ffmpeg-0.svn$DATE"
rm -Rf "$TREE"
svn export svn://svn.mplayerhq.hu/ffmpeg/trunk "$TREE"
tar cvzf ffmpeg_0.svn"$DATE".ori
-T requests timing information in the line printed for each call made.
-c requests that those lines never be printed, so -T does not mean anything
with -c. The times printed by -T are real (wall clock) time. As the
description you quoted says (on Linux), -c collects system time (CPU time

Additional data point: I see the same with the octave2.9 package
(2.9.15) on i386.
The following link suggests that rebuilding $HOME/.octave_packages might
help.

Hi,
doc-base generates .dhelp files in /usr/share/doc because dhelp expects to
find the files there. I agree with Emil, that /usr is not a location for
autogenerated files. As a doc-base maintainer I suggest to move the files
to some subdirectory of /var, for example /

dh_icons in debian, no dh_iconcache. One can use lsb-release (and the
output of “lsb_release -i -s”) to check if the package is being built
on Debian or on Ubuntu (or let
