Hi,
you were indeed right. It is a problem with the version of libldap and the use
of openssl.
I first tried to build upstream ldapvi on etch using openssl and the default

libraries from the openldap2.3_2.3.30.orig.tar.

specifying a non-numeric HostName seems to solve the problem. In
particular, it solved what seems to be a related problem. With the
numeric HostName still in place, I tried

Justification: renders package unusable (uninstallable)
Could you please upload GNAT 4.1.2 to unstable ASAP? As it stands,
cpp-4.1's conflict with gnat-4.1 (<= 4.1.1-22) makes gnat-4.1
uninstallable on systems that don't still have suitably old

This bug was the only trouble I had with my otherwise perfect etch
installation, and I have already explained the workaround to numerous
people with the same problem.

It would be nice if wmusic could detect the presence of audacious and

This is a dummy bug to prevent this entering testing without OOo 2.2

Hi!
php-pear 5.2.0-11 depends on php5-common 5.2.0-11 wich isn't avaible on i386,
according to:
http://packages.debian.org/unstable/web/php5-common
php5-common 5.2.0-11 is only avaible on amd64.
I'm using Debian sid, as of 2007-04-27, using the

Well, my point was that as of now, /usr/lib/libpurple is, for the most
part, unversioned, and libpurple has a version of 0.0.0. The latter is
not really a problem as long as it will get incremented appropriately,
and I'd just have to call the package libpurple0.
