Hi,
can you please publish your efforts of make gdc running on 4.4.3? So we
can merge with the main branch.
Thanks.
Everyone who wants to collaborate please start downloading the gdc code
following these instructions:
http://bitbucket.org/goshawk/gdc/wiki/Home
And then start hacking it. Please remember that compilers are the most
complex piece of software that a human can do, so don't give up when you
find
/gdc/wiki/RepositoryGuidelines and contact me to
have write rights on the repo. Then ping us on IRC or write down proposals
in bitbucket as "issues".
:)
Hope it all helps.

Hi,
This is mainly a message to Walter, Andrei and all the people involved in
dmd and phobos.
As you maybe heard, there have been some commits about the gdc compiler
and in my previous mail in the NG i announced the complete merge of dmd
1.039 and 2.015.
We have a problem now, we don't know ho

I think it's too early to speak about a windows version, although a
people in #d.gdc manifested interested, his nickname is eldar.
gdc on windows could run under mingw, but for mingw, gdc needs to
support gcc 4.4.x (we are at 4.3.x now)
It's planned
Hi all,
After some weeks of work from last announce in this newsgroup we have
nice news to share.
Few seconds ago, Michael has updated the trunk of the project with the
dmd 1.038... so... there are still few versions to merge to reach the
current 1.045 ;)
Please mind that these versions are no

Yep, since math.d is not included in phobos with the change you did,
functions doesn't

After some libphobos2 hacks in commenting some functions which caused
compiler errors, i successfully compiled gdc D2 with phobos 2. I didn't
test yet if it works with an example. If tests will be good, i'll commit
the changes.
Michael P. wrote:

I got gdc compiling on 4.1.2...
So since you are working in bumping the dmd version, i'll work in bumping
gcc version to 4.2 and then 4.3 :D
Is it ok?

modified copy.
So you can put it on bitbucket fo

Done! :D
Have a look here
http://bitbucket.org/goshawk/gdc/overview/
And if you want publish a complete version of the sources. If you just
found that applying patches it works i'll help soon :D

Great news, did you publish it somewhere?
If not tell me that i'll set up a repository on bitbuket.org
See you ;)
And thanks for your work!
Michael you are doing a very good work :)
I don't have time to collaborate now but i could have it in the future.
What i can suggest you to do is:
1) stay on irc.freenode.net #d.gdc to meet other people interested in
gdc.
2) publish your work in a RCS. i suggest you to use http://bitbucket.org/
