renaming works fine but it's awkward to me.

MessageWall (see http://messagewall.org) is potentially good and
full-featured
spam-filtering SMTP proxy. so I tried to make cygwin port.
all compiled and linked OK, but it doesn't make a DNSBL search via
firedns lib.
