Sorry, I can't help more without actually trying. However, it sounds
like Apache/mod_php4 needs some more porting to Cygwin.

Hi everybody,
The original binary package mod_php4 4.2.0-2 works
fine with postgresql support.
Now I want to rebuild mod_php in order to use the
"Calendar functions", with the option
"--enable-calendar".
I followed the indications from the file
"\usr\doc\Cygwin\php-4.

there have been some problems installing mod_php4 with apache, using
setup.exe. i had the problem previously and here is how you can
install php anyways:
what happens is that setup.exe installs mod_php4, returns and nothing.
php doesn't work.
what i did was:
extract the libphp4.dll
