Hey cygwin-octave folks (and Marco),
I ran the command "$ cygcheck cygwin-3.2.4.exe"
as Marco Atzeri suggested, and got the output:
cyg_octave20100125.txt >
Found: D:\cygwin\bin\octave-3.2.4.exe
Found: D:\cygwin\bin\octave-3.2.4.exe

Marco,
I had a problem similar to George Barrick.
cygcheck octave-3.2.4.exe
revealed
cygcheck: track_down: could not find cygGLU-1.dll
This was fixed by installing libGLU1 using setup.exe.
It appears this is a new dependency, not enforced by setup.exe.
Was it intended?

Hey cygwin-octave folks,
I upgraded my octave from 3.2.3 to
3.2.4 this morning. It first appeared in
the CygWin repositories over the past week-
end. I'm running a fully-updated CygWin
1.7.1-1 on WinXP Pro., and started octave
from an xterm.
