I am a fortran user, not a fortran developer, so I hope this is the

Cygwin very happily on a Dell Precision 350, WXP 32 bit system for 3
years. I am about to upgrade to a Dell T1600 Xeon W7 64 bit system. Are

As a follow-up and clarification to my previous post, what I would like
to be able to do is to pipe output to a printer, e.g.
ls -l | lpr
This doesn't work for me as I explained previously. Using notepad /P
instead of lpr doesn't work either. Is there a simple way to do this?

I have not been able to post to the list for some reason so I hope this gets
through. The problem does not seem to be simply one having to do with CRLF,
or the letter e. The problem occurs even after using dos2unix. The problem
occurs when the editing is done with SciTe (with LF returns) and wit
