I emailed AOL directly, to see if there was an option to disable auto
compressing files. This is the response I got...
"Based on your mail, you want to disable the option in automatically
decompressing files when sending a large file as an attachment.

I already knew that, as I stated in my email, that was never received. AOL
autocompresses all the files into a zip. There is no way to change that. I am very
sure. But I'll still look it over.

I have sent my email with the attached files, and such. But that was over an

When I changed to the bin directory, the command did not work, so I had to
run it via "./cygcheck -srv". I displayed very much text, and the window did not

bash: gcc: command not found
Shouldn't I have gcc if I selected everything?
Thanks,
I've downloaded and installed Cygwin with setup.exe, and when it was done, it
asked if I wanted a shortcut on the desktop. And I said yes. Cygwin.pif was
then on the desktop. I've very new to this, but I'm fine with *unix. Is there
another way to run Cygwin?
Thanks,

This is my first time using Cygwin, and my first time on the mailing list. I
have downloaded the full Cygwin packages, meaning everyone single one. Then, I

If I installed Cygwin on a computer, burned it to another computer should it work? It
