holding that file, and all /dev files are in the same directory on the
same partition. I couldn't figure out a way in cygwin to get more
info about a disk or partition from its /dev/ entry. A command like
`od -c /dev/sdb6 | head -3` will give an error if a partit
title is just
"Special filenames", it should be "Cygwin User's Guide: Special
filenames" or similar.
7. There's no favicon for the user guide pages, unlike e.g. the
cygwin.com home page with its link rel="icon".
I also ran into a glitch where any and every
I installed vim 7 on my Windows XP SP2 cygwin system (DLL version:
1.5.19) using Cygwin setup.
But there's no vim.exe in my path. It's not in /bin or /usr/bin. I've
reinstalled with Cygwin setup twice.
