point that it may now be quoting the quotes since they
are part of the argument list. However, I can't come up with the proper
escaping of things to use mkdir to create a directory with a space in it with
the new behavior.
jturney asked if I would email this list about the issue.
Thanks

I am having a problem opening files in emacs from Windows, and I think
that the cygwin build of emacs is causing the problem.
I have an "Edit" option in my windows context menu that sends files to
emacs via a registry key with value:
C:\cygwin\bin\emacsclient-w32.exe "%1"
If I have no open insta

Thanks for any suggestions!

How about:

Hey,
I am wondering how I can host a public cygwin mirror.
I've been looking online for a while and the best info I could find
was @ http://sources.redhat.com/cygwin-apps/package-server.html
So I have everything, but how does one get added to the mirror list?
Thanks

I've just started up with cygwin. I'd to install only the absolute minimum
number of packages neccesary to do first year c/c++ student programming under
gcc. Is there a document/website which goes into detailed discussion of each
cygwin package?
Thanks,

I was having exactly the same problem as Michael Lipp
(http://cygwin.com/ml/cygwin/2002-09/msg00436.html). The problem went
away when I replaced the current cygwin DLL with version 1.3.14-1.
