Now that you mention it, that is the only thing I have changed aside from
installing the windows updates.
I haven't done any other change to the system aside from that and the updates.
That said, I'm not sure what to do to get this fixed.
We like this attached instead of appende
ygwin before and tried reinstalling it
after it stopped working for a reason that is still unknown to me (I
suspect windows update, but I'm not sure...)
Any help appreciated.

I am in the process of compile GTK+ in my computer and as you know there are
other libraries that have to be installed in advance.
I am now trying to compile libiconv-1.9.1 but I get an error that has thrown
me off, that is because the OS I am installing is a WinXP(ensive) [NTFS]
using CYGWIN.

Just run the setup program again, it will download any upgrades needed;
that is the default. You can also choose new programs! In which case
setup will do the upgrade and the new installations.
