I have noticed python REPL core dumps after importing certain libraries (core,
site-dependent) followed by exit() or CTRL-D. I rebased and it still happens.

See versions and example below with import json.
~$ python -V
Python 2.7.10
~$ uname -a
CYGWIN_NT-6.1-WOW X-0
c gcc : run ../../lib/vmalloc/features/vmalloc >
../../FEATURE/vmalloc
Which hangs the build with a process running which I have to kill outside of
cygwin.
My configure parameters are
$ ./configure --enable-shared --disable-static --disable-tcl
Any ideas?
