You all have been very patient with me.
I guess that I _am_ an idiot, because it turns
out that it is my own university network that
is blocking that URL. The problem had me at
a loss because of the sudden change in behavior

Hey cygwin-octave folks,
I upgraded my octave from 3.2.3 to
3.2.4 this morning. It first appeared in
the CygWin repositories over the past week-
end. I'm running a fully-updated CygWin
1.7.1-1 on WinXP Pro., and started octave
from an xterm.
