I just want to take second to thank you for all the work you've done on
Cygwin. Cygwin has kept me sane in Windows environments for ?? years

This is an old issue but we figured out where the cause of the problem
was: a Veritas backup agent. I tried setting the backup operations to
manual, but that wasn't enough. It also wasn't enough that the directory
where I was doing my cvs checkout wasn't even selected for backup. I had
to prevent

Is it possible to disabled certain features to make cygwin secure over
ssh such that the logged in user cannot:
- cd into any /cygdrive drives
- mount any local or UNC drives
but still:
- access a system wide mount to a local drive

I've been running sshd and it recently stopped working. I'm not sure
whether I did anything to it, but I've managed to track down the problem.
If I use privilege separation (ssh-host-config), as soon as I type the

'MIT-SHM extension disabled due to lack of kernel support' when run with
XWin.
This has appeared after 3rd June version, I recall.
More debugging will be supplied, when I have worked out what's going on.

Tried running th elocal directory outside cygwin tree..no joy.
When in the GUI chooser: Select Packages, Exp, View Category:-
I get all the + line entries.
When I click on the +'s I get the appropiate number of 'blank lines' where
the expanded entries should be.
