i've noticed in the cygwin implementation of tcsh that the clear
command doesn't exist. is it in some other format or is there a
module to add this? i thought it was part of the basic tcsh.

wouldn't have thought of quoting the variable itself when called!

and hasn't been since at least 10a yesterday (01/04/08). i
consistently get a peer reset page instead. i've tried this from
multiple locations, so i don't think it's my side.
