I feel that wget or curl should be a Cygwin base package. I looked at these
distros and they all come with one or both pre-installed.

I have a new machine and am failing to install cygwin on it, for some
reason. After downloading packages, the installer suddenly closes.
Nothing is written to /var/log. This is using the latest version of
the 32bit installer, downloaded from the official website.

I try to compile and run WebKit with Cygwin64. I did get the WebKit package
to compile and I now have a cygWebKit-0.dll, a WebProcess.exe and my
WebLauncher application in my home directory.
In Linux I can start this WebLauncher program which pulls in the WebKit.so
