Okay this is most likely a windows issue but I am dont know how to
correct the Problem. Something to do with how windows handled line
feeds and new lines.
I am running rsync as part of cygwin and I see that a '^M' is tacked on
at the end of every directory or a new directory '^M/' is created.
When I run Cygwin on my WindowsXP machine, my firewall informs me of
regedit activity, searching, and text manipulation. I have not located
the source of this activity.

My suggestin is non-sense from logical sense but is a success story to build
gcc-4.3.2.
I have tried with gcc-3.4.4-3 on cygwin, the same error appeared.
I have compliled from gcc 4.3.2 (only C, C++, Fortran) from gcc 4.3.1, there
occured no problems.
To my knowledge 4.2
Popup says .ycmss17.vf is busy.
Interestingly however the log shows:

Is there a current working version of netcdf for cygwin? It isn't in
the cygwin packages.
I downoaded the distribution from unidata and tried to build it. The configure
script knew
about cygwin so I tried to run ./configure and make. The configure script ran
fine but when
I ran "make check"
I recently upgraded to 1.5.25 and I now find that whenever we put
the machine on "Standy" mode, or try to switch users, the machine
hesitates for a very long time (up to 90 sec), while the previous
1.4.x did not.
We are running Windows XP SP3.
