- "gcc -E bla.c" doesn't work (cpp bla.c = same)
- "gcc -S bla.c" does work
- "/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-cygwin/2.95.3-5/cpp0.exe bla.c" does work
Guess I've almost found it then, but why doesn't "cpp" work and full-path-to-real-cpp
does?
I'm tired, it's 05:25 :/,

You are correct about the mount points. I mounted in binary mode, then used cvs
in bash and it now works correctly. Setting CYGWIN=binmode did not have the
same effect.
Thank you for your input.

I can't seem to get ghostscript to work properly even under XFree86?
I just checked and I have all the latest packages.
This error message is obtained from `gs file.ps` or `gs.exe file.ps`.
Under my Sun/Solaris, `gs file.ps` works fine. I created file.ps using
cygwin/groff.

In console, add 'codepage:oem' to your CYGWIN variable.
In rxvt, use a font that actually contains the box chars -- try "

Hi,
I'm trying setup-2001-12-24-1.exe. When I choose "Install from
Local Directory" after selecting the directories it says:
Installing...

and does nothing. It hangs.
I have no chance to select any packages. There is no chooser

FYI: I downloaded the packages with the rele
