Just run validate under Cygwin on my desktop box. Several UTF8 tests fail thus:
Unexpected failures:
testblockalloc(normal)
utf8_002(normal)
utf8_003(normal)
utf8_004(normal)
utf8_005(normal)
I know you were doing unicode stuff. All the utf8 ones have the same error:
