I have applied them in the debian repo and uploaded as 2.1.2

The previous patch I sent[1] has a bug, and you cant apply it from the
mail b/c it has many windows line endings, I'm sorry. Attached is a
new patch that fixes the problems and is compressed to preserve the ^M
line endings.
