This port extends the existing i686 port to support x86_64 by trying to
reuse existing code whenever it makes sense.

FI, I have uploaded updated gdb packages to debian-ports.
I noticed that we get warnings about libraries and the backtrace indeed
gets wrong in libraries, so that probably needs some more fixes.
