hdXsY/sdXsY/xvdXsY, the Mach naming scheme)
the good point in it is that it helps using the same image between native
execution and virtualization.

Don't try to support hdXY and sdXY for disk devices. This support is special
to the old Xen-Linux implementation and will not survive the upstream
integration.
