Some of these interfaces will probably go away or change drastically.
Since the ones in that category are already not used by anyone, no need to
document them as they are. Some of the other ones (like the lookup calls)
will probably move out of libc at some point.

while waiting for GDB to compile and wanting to be atleast a bit
productive I started extracting the functions related to the Hurd in
libc. All of it is really just a quick cut and paste from hurd.h, but
some functions do need to get a small blurb about what they do. Since

Would anyone mind if we ditched the install section in the Hurd
Reference Manual (from here on I will call it HRM)? It is very
outdated, and how to install a GNU/Hurd system should be documented
with the actual system, not the Hurd. For cross-compilation, such
things should live in INSTALL-c
