A quick grep shows that inet_ntop.h suffers from the same
bug. The 6 other occurances of ifndef.*HAVE_DECL in lib/*.[ch]
intentionally cause compile-time

coreutils-5.93 and "CFLAGS='-Wall' ./gnulib-tool --test canon-host"
currently evoke the following warnings on cygwin when using
CVS autoconf:
gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I../../lib -I.. -Wall -c ../../lib/canon-host.c
../../lib/canon-host.c: In function `canon_host_r':

Thanks for repor
coreutils CVS head now fails to compile on cygwin due to a recent
import of the latest gnulib getaddrinfo. Sure enough, running
gnulib-tool --test getaddrinfo
dies with the following:
make[2]: Entering directory `/home/eblake/gnulib/testdir3556/build/lib'
gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I../../lib -I..
