Hello list,
The attached patch, against Git master, addresses numerous
incompatibilities in Gnulib with IBM z/OS (a mainframe operating system)
and the EBCDIC encoding.
With my changes, Gnulib builds successfully, and most of the tests
succeed. The remaining failures are as follows.
