on a powerpc host, i upgraded from 2.18.50.0.3 (which is working) to 2.18.50.0.4 and now building binutils-2.17 for a Blackfin target, ld aborts: $ make size /bin/sh ./libtool --mode=link gcc -W -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -Wmissing-prototypes -Werror -g -O2 -o size size.o bucomm.o version.o file
