Hello,
I have noticed that rule chaining breaks when per-target flags
are used. Attached please find a patch which introduces tests for
this, but no fix.
Can this patch be accepted?
How could this bug be fixed?

Unfortunately, this is not the test which failed.
txinfo5 is one of the three expected failures. The real failure
is marked "FAIL:", not "XFAIL:".
