Hello all, I have a small problem, and I was wondering if someone could help
me. My bind9 dns gets a query for loopback. I have tried and tried to define

reverse address entries in specific circumstances so I'm going to recommend
that they add them.
Thank you.

Hello all, is there any reason to setup reverse address entries for a zone? I
have asked some of the admins here and the consensus from them is that only A
records are necessary. Is this true?

Hello all, I was trying to follow the thread on the NXDOMAIN and got lost. :) I
have a question about using forwarders. If the DNS that is using forwarders
receives a query for a zone it's not authoritative for even if it's in the same
network, does it go to the forwarders for zone information?
Sounds like they are using BGP for routing. That's probably the way we are
going to go. That way we don't have to make any crazy changes in our bind
configurations. Thanks all for the replies.
