Well the main idea behind and have been struggling to configure for almost
last one year is to have a open source alternative to DNS Based
failover/System monitoring thus have inbound loadbalancer.

It looks like the approptiate header files are not being pulled in

Please send the config.log.
Could you also look to see which header file contains the typedef

Thank you for all of the responses, I really appreciate it. Clearly the
best approach is to sign the internal tld, but at the moment I can't do that
because I would need new internal servers, ours don't support dnssec.
I configured it as a slave and it's working. Thanks!

Yeah, if you did 'yum install bind' then you probably don't have t
Crude but effective:
1. install the yum package
2. check the output from ``named -V`` to see how the packaged version was
configured.
3. use the same directory-specific options that you see in step 2 when you run
``./configure`` in your copy of the source
4. ``make install`` (as root) right over

Hi Manish,
You can always grab a pre-canned ISO from turnkeylinux.org. You could
also use Puppet or Chef recipes to get BIND up and running. I'm sure
someone also has a Vagrant box available -- try vagrantbox.es.
Generally speaking, though, if you're using an appliance in production,

You could try the BIND module in webmin - I've not used it in a long long time
so has probably changed quite a bit. Some docs here:

I know Infoblox has this, though I have no direct experience with that
