(http://www.nvidia.com/cuda). The SDK is available for free and it is
using a C like syntax (so you don't need to write shader and be
familiar with OpenGL or DX9 ).

A few things,
1) You may find MPI Link Checker from Microway helpful
in this situation. There was free beta version floating around
at one point. Plus ethtool can be helpful to check and see how
the nodes are connecting to the switch.
