I was amused to see the scenario rendering of a Sun Blackbox on
Mars. leaving aside the not inconsiderable hassle of getting many
thousands of kilos to Mars and those pesky issues like radiation tolerance.
It looks like they have 2 10x10 foot solar panels.. let's see..

According to the ars-technica article today, these units are intended more as a
drop-and-leave-until-dead type system. After you feel too many nodes have died
you ship the whole thing off to be refurbished offline.

Or... use /etc/ssh/shosts.equiv and host-based authentication
(HostbasedAuthentication yes in /etc/ssh/sshd_config).

You can setup `passwordless` ssh access within your cluster...
http://www.numbski.net/passwordless_ssh.html
or check out google...
once you get it setup, you can do something on the order of :
`ssh remotehost shutdown -r now`

You need to distribute the keys for root to /root/.ssh on all of the nodes.

Sun's project "blackbox" is pretty interesting. Basically it's a
prepackaged cluster in a shipping container. Water cooled. There's
currently a link to it from www.sun.com. Overall I like the concept -
it could change data center design from constructing one off
