There we're built errors in the past, but it works as of now, at least for me
it builds just fine. If you continue to have errors, please mention them in the
comments so we can fix them.

what exactly it does though, it's not even optional for wine
and the wine tests pass even without the libs installed...
FWIW, once the thunks work well enough, 32bit dependencies are going to be
obsolete anyways. Should we keep it around until then?
