Hello,
I upgarded a remote machine recently. And i got loocked out of the system. I
still have acess to the machine trough serial console (KVM). Is there any
way to list the lvm volumes from there ? Since my /dev/mapper/Root-root
doesn't work.

To add to the weird factor, a dd to dev/sdb1 (partition) works as it
should, slowly. But then ofcourse the iso gets unbootable.
The md5sum on the iso is correct.
I tried with diferent pen drives.
Please, any suggestions is welcome.

I did not upgraded my system, I avoided it at all costs.
I did not like that the problem sorted itself out. I will test it, if the
problem reappears, I will get X.org logs. (Being wherever they are).

The interface comes up but its immediately down, for some weird reason. I can't
reproduce the problem every time.
