No similar problems with RX550 on kernel 4.16.2 and latest mesa packages,
although Gnome Videos (totem) is buggy. I can't click any buttons.
DRI not available sounds like a kernel issue. What does 'dmesg | grep drm'
show you?

Anyone else running the Cinnamon DE is having an issue where Gnome System
Monitor's menu (on the top left) appears as text?
I've added some images here: https://unix.stackexchange.com/q/436635/154671

Have a look at the changelogs:
https://cdn.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v4.x/ChangeLog-4.15.4 and

Hi,
I've just accidentally deleted my '/usr/local/share' folder.
This happened while I was creating custom copies of launchers from
/usr/share/applications.
Now, if I understand it correctly, the '/usr/local' directory should
only contain files created by the user. In fact, I checked other

Hi,
Replacing GDM for LightDM was a smart move.
(You can make it look like GDM; here's a hand: https://goo.gl/WpMrYg)
If you like GNOME and would still like to use it, I recommend changing
vm.swappiness to a higher value (default is 60). In my case I found

benefit using ABS.
So I take this opportunity t
KShare is worth keeping an eye on. It's based on the (excellent)

Good morning,
With Cinnamon 3.4.2 released 2 days ago, the version available in the
official repository is now 3 releases behind.
I exhort those in charge to please give this matter some attention.
Thanks.
