Worked for me
Some font packages could be installed without causing package management
conflicts, but they conflict with settings. You'll only notice that a
font with a special name is replaced by another font, even while the
old font still is installed. It's quasi impossible to rule out such
conflicts.

I actually fixed this by removing the ibfonts-meta-extended,
ibfonts-meta-base, ibfonts-meta-extended-lt, and ttf-noto-serif-multilang-ib
packages, and then reinstalling ibfonts-meta-base and ibfonts-meta-extended.
