Compiz-Fusion has lots of keybindings; it is supposed to intercept all the keys that it is supposed to listen to. Are you sure that compiz is intercepting _all_ keys with alt? A basic test to see this would be to open a terminal, run cat, then type away, holding alt (under compiz of course). Y

Hi, all I found the CF in my machine ate up all alt keys besides the CF binding short cuts including Alt, such as Alt+F1,Alt+Tab,Alt+F2,etc. The scenario is when I enable compiz fuscion in my laptop T61p with nvidia newest driver, everything works fine and smoothly except no more application

Hi Nigel. I think you are using the default KDE from Arch. I strongly recommend KDEmod (http://kdemod.ath.cx/), a tweaked version of KDE made by community volunteers (brave ones, at that). This is the project that ships qtmod, as it is patched for some features not in the default arch's qt package

Hi Folks. When I open Qsynth, I can rotate the various controls, but clicking on any of the buttons causes it to crash. For example I click on the "Options" button, the options window opens momentarily, but is blank, then Qsynth goes out to lunch. When Qsynth is opened without messing with the
