Take a look at the output of "xev" when you press the key(s) and

Hi all
actually i noticed this problem since the beginning as i installed arch
whatever key i use for binding xfc4-popup-menu there are problems.
Problems when like... the menu opens only after.. 10-20 keypresses
sometimes it doesn't
interestingly enough when firefox is maximised then the menu
